Sergio Rossetti Morosini (born in 1953 - ) is an American artist, and a descendant of an old Venetian family〔Morosini family〕 that settled in the Atlantic Forest in Southern Brazil.〔Italian Brazilian#cite note-IBGEOrigemIt-18〕 He grew up in the city of Guarapuava,〔Um Guarapuavano faz Arte nos EUA, editorial, ''Paulo Esteche,'' Editor, Tribuna de Guarapuava, first page and Section 2, full page 17, Guarapuava, August 05–11, 1995.〕 in the heart of the state of Paraná's Araucaria Forest. Sergio is educated in economics, diplomacy, and holds master's degrees in Fine Arts and History of Art from the Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.〔Sergio Antonio Rossetti Morosini holds degrees in economics and diplomacy and has served Brazil as cultural attache in New Orleans. He has recently completed a dual art history and fine arts masters degree at the Pratt Institute and is currently working on a manuscript concerning technical issues of Titian's frescoes (Driggs Avenue, Brooklyn, N. Y 11211 ). They were married in 1976; he was 22 and she was 21. Sergio's tenure at the Consulate, however, coincided with the 1973 Oil Crisis which increased several times Brazil's Trans-Amazonian Highway construction costs and brought in the Brazil financial crisis of the late 1970s. Through numerous cultural events, and partnerships with Loyola and Tulane Universities, and later with the newly founded New Orleans Area Latin American Chamber of Commerce,〔The New Orleans Area Latin American Chamber Of Commerce is a Louisiana, independent, not-for-profit business membership organization established to promote international trade among Latin American Countries and the United States of America. Its File Number is 04605180N.〕 he worked diligently with New Orleans Mayor Moon Landrieu's administration, the International Relations Office,〔Later supplanted by the OFM:http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/208984.pdf〕 the International Trade Mart, and the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans to unite the Latin American businesses behind a comprehensive trade policy through the ports of New Orleans and Gulfport-Biloxi, Mississippi.
